Experience History
Stories of Utrecht was born out of a love for Utrecht and its history. Our tours not only highlight the historical landmarks but also explore lesser-known aspects of Utrecht's past – from inspiring women to the stories behind centuries-old walls. All our tours are available in English, German, or Dutch. We believe that history is for everyone. Our goal is to make it exciting, inclusive, and accessible.
Hello, I'm Sandra
With many years of experience as a museum educator and developer of creative and intercultural workshops for children and young people, I’ve fulfilled a dream with Stories of Utrecht. Through my tours, I want to bring the city's stories closer to both young and old and inspire everyone to view history from new perspectives.
Stories of Utrecht was born from a love for Utrecht and its stories. I want to share the city's tales at the very places where they actually happened, creating a unique experience. My tours are not always about the most famous people but always about those who left a lasting mark on the city's history.

Fun is Key
Children get bored faster than adults. That's just how it is, and when it comes to history, boredom can often be a real danger. That's why we make sure all participants are actively involved in our tours so they can experience the city's stories from new perspectives!
Families Come First
A quick stop at the bakery because suddenly the stomach growls or a pit stop with a changing table? No problem! We schedule extra time for the unplanned little emergencies. Each tour includes planned breaks, and we know the best changing spots in the city. Of course, all tours are designed to accommodate strollers or balance bikes.
